Matthew is a documentary director and producer based in Bristol, UK. His work has premiered at Berlin, Venice and Sundance film festivals, and played theatrically in cinemas around the world. He’s made work with Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., BFI, Netflix, BBC and Channel 4’s Random Acts.

Matthew recently produced MADE IN ENGLAND: THE FILMS OF POWELL AND PRESSBURGER, which was narrated by executive producer Martin Scorsese, and premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in 2024. Before that he directed FRANK CAPRA: MR AMERICA for Sony Pictures, which launched at the Venice Biennale in 2023.
